I’m a freelance journalist based in Athens, Greece. I write about many things, but my favorite stories are those that dig into the human experience beyond the depressing facade of politics. I was previously based in Tunis, Tunisia and before that, I was a Fabrica Fellow working for COLORS Magazine in Treviso, Italy.

My work has appeared in The Economist, 1864, Vice, The Guardian, The New Republic, The Outline, IRIN News, Al Jazeera, Conde Nast Traveller, Four Seasons Magazine, Quartz, Al Monitor, and others.  I’m a 2018 Adelante Fellow with the International Women’s Media Fund.

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Political Science. I work in French and English, but can order pizza in six languages, with varying results.
